Use of the App
ArthNote provides digital bookkeeping services that allow users to:
- Create and manage Private Books
- Create and collaborate via Shared Books
- Create Person-to-Person (P2P) Books
- Record financial transactions and entries
- Upload media attachments to entries
- Add remarks or notes to entries
- Invite and manage members in collaborative books
- Search for users by email or username
User Account
Some features require a registered account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
User Data
You may create and store personal or business bookkeeping data within ArthNote, including:
- Bookkeeping records
- Financial entries
- Entry remarks
- Media attachments
- Shared bookkeeping info
- Account names
- Categories
By using Shared Books or P2P Books, you acknowledge that authorized participants may access the data you choose to share within those books.
Shared Books and Collaboration
When you create or join a Shared Book:
- Authorized members may view shared bookkeeping data
- Members may add, edit, or interact with data per their permissions
- You are responsible for inviting trusted users
- You are responsible for managing member permissions where applicable
Vaghela Softwares is not responsible for disputes, disagreements, or losses arising between collaborators.
P2P Books
P2P Books are designed for bookkeeping between two registered users. Both participants may:
- Access shared bookkeeping information
- View remarks and media on entries
Each participant is responsible for the content they contribute.
Private Books
Private Books are intended solely for your personal bookkeeping.
Media Attachments and Entry Remarks
You may upload supported media files and add remarks to bookkeeping entries. You agree that:
- You own or have permission to upload the content
- The uploaded content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
- The content is not defamatory, abusive, fraudulent, obscene, or harmful
Remarks and media attachments are intended only to support bookkeeping activities.
User Search, Invitations and Blocking
Users may search for other registered users by email address or username, solely for collaboration within the App.
You agree not to use this feature for:
- Spam
- Harassment
- Unwanted marketing
- Impersonation
- Any unlawful activity
Users may block others. Blocking may restrict profile visibility, invitations, or other interactions supported by the App.
Advertising
ArthNote may display advertisements using Google AdMob. By using the App, you acknowledge that advertisements may be displayed and that Google AdMob operates under its own Terms and Privacy Policy.
Restrictions
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
- Upload illegal, harmful, or malicious content
- Upload copyrighted material without authorization
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Interfere with servers or networks
- Use bots, scripts, or automated systems
- Abuse Shared Books or P2P collaboration features
- Harass or spam other users
- Circumvent user blocking features
- Impersonate another person or organization
Intellectual Property
All software, source code, application design, trademarks, logos, graphics, branding, and other intellectual property related to ArthNote remain the exclusive property of Vaghela Softwares.
You may not:
- Copy
- Modify
- Distribute
- Sell
- Reverse engineer
- Reproduce
…any part of the App without prior written permission.
Data Backup
While ArthNote stores data using secure cloud services and may synchronize across devices, we cannot guarantee against data loss caused by:
- User actions
- Device failure
- Internet connectivity issues
- Third-party service outages
- Natural disasters
- Software bugs
Users are responsible for reviewing important bookkeeping records regularly.
Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services including:
- Google AdMob
- Google Play Services
- Authentication providers
- Cloud storage providers
- Crash reporting services
These services are governed by their own Terms and Privacy Policies. Vaghela Softwares is not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vaghela Softwares shall not be liable for:
- Loss of bookkeeping data
- Financial loss from user-entered information
- User mistakes or incorrect entries
- Loss from granting access to other users
- Disputes between collaborators
- Content uploaded by users
- Temporary service interruptions
- Third-party service failures
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the App
Users remain solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of their bookkeeping records.
Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in unlawful activities
- Abuse collaboration features
- Harass other users
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems
- Interfere with the proper operation of the App
You may stop using ArthNote at any time by deleting your account or uninstalling the App.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When significant changes are made, we will update the Last Updated date and may notify users through the App. Continued use of ArthNote after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
